After 40 years as a drummer Barry has established himself as one of Canada's premier musicians.

Barry is a12 time Juno nominee (as a sideman) and his recording Existential Detective was nominated for best contemporary jazz recording at the Junos in 2009.

Barry leads the award winning group Random Access and also co-leads the trio Inside Out with guitar legend Lorne Lofsky. Barry has also accompanied many international artists and has been featured on over 75 recordings including 18 as a leader/co-leader.

Barry is teaching Drum Kit Technique, Rhythm Section Skills, Percussion Ensemble, and will lead a jazz combo.
