Vocal Audition with Jessica Lloyd, accompanist Jenny Crober
Have you ever wanted to audition for a choir, gig, or role in a show but don’t know what to do? How many times have you wished you were more prepared for a vocal audition?
Jessica will discuss all issues around auditions including vocal preparation, stage fright, head shots and resumes.
At the end of the week, it’s audition time! Have 1 or 2 pieces prepared and bring your resume and headshot if you have one. Practise your new techniques in a ‘mock audition’ setting. Fear not, Jessica will also talk about performance and audition etiquette, that is, how to speak to the accompanist/band and introduce your song.

Participants perform for the class, but not the end-of-week concerts.
