Classes described below were offered in 2011. Stay tuned for our 2012 program. |
In Jazz Week, focus on developing skills like rhythm and improvizing, and play a small jazz combo or the New Orleans Funk Band, lead by Paul Neufeld and his sousaphone. In week-long workshops, accomplished professionals like renowned jazz guitarist and Field Music Artistic Director Michael Occhipinti and trumpeter Kevin Turcotte will guide you through the styles and repertoire in exciting and fun-filled sessions.
In Classical Week there are ensembles of all sizes. Sign up for a small chamber group or play in the full orchestra, lead by the multi-talented Gerard Yun. Uncover your best sound in technique class, and take what you've learned to other workshops.
