"Fun. Inspiring. Energetic." - a past participant

This class will encourage people of all faiths or no faith to enjoy performing the powerful and passionate choral repertoire associated with North American Gospel churches, a genre that mixes a variety of African American styles such as R&B, jazz and rap. The music selected will have universal themes and leave the students aware of the power of song.

Is this class for you?

For anyone who loves to sing, including beginners. Songs will be taught by ear, so you don't need to be able to read music. This ensemble will perform at the end of the week.
