September 6, 2025. Our emails are currently being blocked by Yahoo and associated domains, including yahoo.com, yahoo.ca, rogers.com and sympatico.ca. We are investigating a resolution but for now, our replies to email addresses with those domains will not arrive in your inbox.
August 10, 2025. Many thanks to our faculty and participants for a fabulous week at Laurier’s Waterloo campus. The date and location of next year’s camp will be announced as soon as it is confirmed, stay tuned!
July 24, 2025. Alex Cheung is not available to coach at camp due to the illness of a family member. Saskia Tomkins will be taking his place. Saskia coached strings from 2016 - 2022 and we are happy to welcome her back. Big thanks to Alex for his music preparations for this summer and to Saskia for a quick return from performing in Alberta.
April 29, 2025. The camp schedule has been updated and registration for August 3 - 10 will begin Sunday, May 4 at 8:00pm.
March 16, 2025. The camp pricing and location pages have been updated. Registration will be announced once the music program has been finalized.
January 30, 2025. We are excited to announce the 48th annual LFM camp will be moving to Laurier's Waterloo campus this summer, August 3 – 10, 2025. The music program will be based in the newly renovated Savvas Chamberlain Music Building which is conveniently attached to the dining facilities and a short walk from the King St. residence (all air-conditioned).
Why are we moving? Lakefield College School is not available this summer due to ongoing construction resulting in the closure of facilities including the dining hall.
Music program and registration details will be updated on the website in the coming weeks and the start of registrations will be announced as soon as possible.
