Vocal Duets with Charles Baxter, accompanists Debbie Fingas and Lyndsay Bolden
This workshop will address technique, musicianship, interpretation and how to collaborate with another singer and piano accompanist. Duet music will be provided at camp and reviewed together before splitting into pairs. Participants will be able to change partners during the week. We will have fun through a learning singing partnership.
Is this class for you?
For intermediate/advanced singers with some experience singing with an accompanist.
Sight-reading skills, listening skills and singing in tune are required.
Participants perform for the class, but not the end-of-week concerts. Other opportunities to perform include evening concerts earlier in the week.
