Lake Field Music's Classical Week Faculty: Marsha Moffitt

Marsha is a cellist in the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, a position she has held for over 20 years. She also maintains a busy freelance career, playing with orchestras and ensembles throughout Southern Ontario. Marsha has extensive chamber music experience and is currently a member of the piano trio Amis Musicaux, based in Hamilton. She can be heard on several recordings, including a Juno-nominated recording for young people. An enthusiastic teacher, Marsha has a busy studio of private cello students, coaches chamber music ensembles and conducts an adult amateur string orchestra. |
